About us

We teach children that effort is the point

Growth Mindset Early Learning Centre was founded on a simple idea: ability is not fixed. With the right environment, the right materials and educators who notice, every child can surprise you.

Our approach

A prepared environment, an open mind

Our rooms are set up so children can choose their own work, return to it, and finish it without being interrupted. Materials are real, beautiful and self-correcting, which means children discover their own mistakes rather than being told about them.

Alongside that, our educators use growth mindset language all day long — praising strategy and persistence rather than talent. It changes how children talk to themselves, and that is the skill they carry into school and beyond.

The Growth Mindset philosophy

The four principles of our Growth Mindset philosophy

These four principles are the Growth Mindset philosophy — the foundation of everything we do, practised by every child, every day, in every centre.

Philosophy 01

Face challenges bravely

Children learn that difficulty is a signal of growth, not a reason to stop.

Philosophy 02

Take risks in the company of others

Safe, supported risk-taking builds confidence, trust and real friendships.

Philosophy 03

Cultivate a sense of purpose

Every child contributes to the life of the room — caring, tidying, leading.

Philosophy 04

Value the process over the result

We celebrate effort, strategy and persistence rather than the finished product.

Our educators

Familiar faces, year after year

Our teams are qualified early childhood professionals with ongoing Montessori and growth mindset training. We keep groups small and rosters consistent so children know exactly who will greet them each morning.
